Tiffany & Co. seeks an Accounting Manager, Latin America & Caribbean in Miami to lead regional financial reporting, compliance and team oversight.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close activities for Latin America & the Caribbean, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of regional financial reporting.
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals and supporting schedules prepared by regional accounting staff.
  • Maintain integrity of the general ledger, monitor balance sheet reconciliations and drive timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, applicable IFRS requirements, Group accounting policies and local statutory rules across regional markets.
  • Strengthen and maintain internal controls and standardised accounting procedures across new and existing markets.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, and respond to statutory and tax-related requests in partnership with tax and legal teams.
  • Act as a business partner to Finance, Operations and Corporate teams to streamline accounting processes, implement system enhancements and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and oversight to regional accounting staff; support capacity building for multi-market operations.
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analyses, special projects and system troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal control frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or leading accounting staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience engaging senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple deliverables and work to tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP and reporting systems such as JDE and Business Objects preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus.
  • CPA credential preferred.

Experience

At least five years of accounting and financial reporting experience, including hands-on month‑end close, balance sheet reconciliations and supervisory responsibilities; prior exposure to multi‑market or Latin America operations and retail industry experience is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
