Barton Perreira (Thélios/LVMH) seeks a Senior Manager, Retail Performance and Operations in New York to lead retail strategy, operations and store excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement retail strategies to drive sales growth, profitability and market share across Barton Perreira’s store network.
- Analyze market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities and optimise store performance.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, marketing, wholesale and e‑commerce teams to align retail initiatives with brand objectives.
- Identify and support retail expansion opportunities including new store openings and strategic market development; manage landlord and partner relationships.
- Build, lead and develop high-performing retail teams; deliver coaching, succession planning and performance management for store leadership.
- Ensure consistent delivery of elevated client experiences through clienteling programmes, in‑store storytelling and personalised service initiatives.
- Oversee retail operations including inventory management, visual merchandising standards, store compliance and process improvement.
- Monitor retail KPIs and financial performance; lead budgeting, sales forecasting and cost control to meet business targets.
- Drive continuous improvement of retail tools, processes and execution to increase operational efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury retail management, ideally within eyewear, jewelry or high‑end fashion.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful retail strategies in a competitive luxury environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and inspire high‑performing teams, with experience in talent development and succession planning.
- Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, sales forecasting, P&L oversight and KPI management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills across internal and external partners.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for luxury brand storytelling and client experience.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively and to work evenings or weekends as business needs require.
