Thélios (LVMH) seeks Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Business Development in New York. Drive luxury eyewear growth across Americas, $120K–$140K.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive evaluation of the Americas distribution network, ensuring alignment with Maison standards, selective distribution principles, and commercial objectives
  • Analyze the active door universe across brands, channels, and regions, tracking openings, closures, segmentation, and performance metrics
  • Monitor door-level performance encompassing sell-in, sell-out, assortment, replenishment, and new collection implementation
  • Identify distribution gaps, underdeveloped territories, and underperforming doors; develop and recommend action plans to enhance productivity and brand positioning
  • Develop account and channel-specific growth strategies that balance commercial opportunity with Maison positioning and selective distribution requirements
  • Identify and evaluate new business development opportunities across North American channels; assess new target doors and expansion opportunities
  • Build business cases for strategic opportunities, including market potential, brand fit, operational feasibility, investment requirements, and ROI projections
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising execution across accounts meets Maison standards and optimizes in-store brand presentation
  • Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, and regional leadership to secure ideal in-store brand placement and monitor fixture quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with Paris-based Brand Management on Americas market needs, product assortment, styling, color, pricing, and competitive positioning
  • Provide Americas market expertise to HQ and Brand Management, delivering insights on market realities, opportunities, and regional needs
  • Conduct competitive analysis of luxury eyewear competitors, retail environments, pricing strategies, assortment, visibility, and distribution channels
  • Support strategic buying meetings, trade shows, and key account presentations with commercial insights and business development recommendations
  • Partner with Sales leadership on channel, regional, and district-level business planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Brand Management, Merchandising, or Buying within luxury, fashion, or consumer goods
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, research solutions, and implement processes to address business challenges
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities involving cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 140,000 per annum.
