Thélios seeks a Retail Sales Associate for the Barton Perreira boutique in New York, NY. Competitive $50k–$75k; 1+ year retail sales experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients to create a comfortable, refined boutique experience and present the Barton Perreira brand story.
- Build, nurture and convert relationships with existing and prospective clients to cultivate long-term clienteling.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets, optimizing units per transaction and average transaction value.
- Apply in-depth product knowledge during consultations to advise on frame selection, fit and styling.
- Maintain boutique visual standards and assist with general housekeeping to uphold the store image.
- Adhere to company policies, loss-prevention procedures and point-of-sale processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations and team objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail or sales experience; experience in eyewear, jewelry or fashion is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with proven negotiation and presentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated customer-service orientation and interpersonal skillset suited to luxury clienteling.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for eyewear and quality design.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends; willingness to work on-site.
- Optician license or certification preferred but not required.
