Thélios seeks a 6-month Retail Merchandising Assistant internship in Paris; support eyewear category growth across luxury retail networks.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create reporting tools and performance tracking systems (KPIs) for sales and business metrics
- Analyze sales results and performance data for luxury maisons, synthesizing findings into monthly business review presentations
- Generate forecasts for new collection purchases and manage inventory planning
- Coordinate shipment activations with customer service, planning, and logistics teams
- Monitor product delivery schedules and provide maisons with visibility on merchandise availability
- Anticipate restocking needs for CAO products and formulate purchase and assortment recommendations
- Advise and support maisons on best practices for eyewear category development within their retail networks
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives with production teams
- Manage administrative follow-up and maintain order tracking systems
- Create order files and compile necessary information in collaboration with cross-functional departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree +4/+5 in Marketing or related field
- Prior internship and/or work-study experience in merchandising or business analysis
- Fluent in French and English; Italian is desirable
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated adaptability and versatility across multiple priorities
- Proactive mindset with genuine intellectual curiosity
