Thélios (LVMH) — NPI Purchasing Intern in Longarone, Italy supporting procurement, supplier evaluation and cost analysis for new product introduction.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities for new product projects across the full NPI lifecycle, from concept through to mass production.
- Collaborate with R&D and Engineering to define component and material specifications that balance technical performance, manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
- Contribute to supplier identification, qualification and selection, ensuring alignment with technical, quality and commercial requirements.
- Conduct cost analyses for components and materials and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization.
- Acquire detailed knowledge of production and technological processes to inform purchasing decisions and support process re-engineering.
- Act as a cross-functional interface between Procurement and R&D, Engineering, Quality and Production to drive continuous improvement and deliver actionable reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in Purchasing, Sourcing or Supply Chain Management, ideally within a product development (NPI) environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience or coursework in data and cost analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
- Proactive, curious mindset with the ability to propose pragmatic solutions for process and cost improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Experience
Entry-level; suitable for recent graduates or students completing a degree who demonstrate a strong interest in procurement, supply chain and new product introduction. Previous internships or academic projects related to purchasing, sourcing or process improvement are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
