Founded in 2017 and anchored in its state-of-the-art Manifattura in Longarone, Italy, the company offers a distinctive employer experience at the intersection of luxury, innovation and savoir-faire. Thélios cultivates an international, entrepreneurial environment where talent is encouraged to shape the future of high-end eyewear through creativity, precision and collaboration. For professionals passionate about product excellence and the codes of luxury, Thélios provides the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious, fast-growing global house.

Thélios seeks a Field Quality Manager in Milan to oversee product quality across its distribution network and market, translating customer, boutique, Customer Service, logistics and regional-market insights into priorities and improvements. The role leads market claims and eyewear refurbishment, coordinates quality issue resolution and cross-functional improvement initiatives, and develops Field Quality processes and tools. This is a full-time, permanent position under the applicable CCNL Eyewear.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Quality interface with Customer Service, boutiques, markets and commercial functions for market claims and feedback.
  • Lead and develop the team managing market claims and eyewear refurbishment, setting clear priorities, ensuring high-quality interventions and appropriate response times, and monitoring performance.
  • Analyze non-quality data, identify trends, recurring issues and early warning signals, and provide reporting and KPIs to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate market quality issue management, including containment, root cause analysis, action plans and effectiveness verification with relevant functions.
  • Collaborate with Logistics, the main hub and regional warehouses on quality control, packaging, handling and shipping.
  • Plan regular visits to boutiques, customers, hubs and markets, including joint visits with Brand Ambassadors, to capture customer feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide structured market feedback to Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Product and After Sales teams to support prioritization.
  • Promote and lead cross-functional improvement projects to reduce claims, enhance the customer experience and prevent recurrence.
  • Support escalations and management decisions with executive summaries, risk assessments and data-driven recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of Field Quality processes, standards and digital tools to improve traceability, responsiveness and the sharing of lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality, Field Quality, Customer Quality or After Sales roles, with increasing responsibility and solid managerial exposure.
  • Experience preferably gained in the luxury, fashion or premium goods sector, such as eyewear, jewelry, footwear, leather goods, accessories or products with strong aesthetic and quality requirements.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, science or economics.
  • Solid experience in claims management, data analysis, structured problem solving, root cause analysis and improvement projects.
  • Ability to coordinate international stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including during escalations and when managing competing priorities.
  • Fluent English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and internationally.
