LVMH Institute of Craftsmanship Excellence Eyewear Product Manager internship, Belluno Italy—2-year professional training programme combining theory with hands-on experience at Louis Vuitton and Thelios.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze fashion and market trends to inform eyewear collection development
- Research and evaluate materials and technologies for spectacle and sunglass design
- Transform design concepts into technical, industrializable projects suitable for commercial production
- Design and develop eyewear from initial sketch through graphic design, prototyping, and 3D printing phases
- Coordinate and support the Style Office and Product Development teams across design, engineering, and prototyping stages
- Develop technical documentation and production-ready specifications for eyewear collections
Qualifications
- Upper secondary school diploma (Diploma di scuola superiore)
- Italian citizenship, EU member state citizenship, or non-EU citizenship with valid residence or stay permit
- Demonstrated manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail
- Strong sensory and tactile sensitivity to materials and craftsmanship
- Ability to work collaboratively within creative and technical teams
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or first professional experience; no prior eyewear industry experience required. Candidates should demonstrate foundational design thinking and problem-solving ability.
Education
Upper secondary school diploma (Diploma di scuola superiore) required. Upon successful completion, graduates will receive dual certification: a government-recognized Diploma di Tecnico Superiore (with university credit transfer eligibility) and the LVMH Institute of Craftsmanship Excellence Certificate.
