Thélios seeks a Director of Sales, LATAM & Travel Retail in Miami to lead commercial strategy and P&L for Mexico across Latin America and Travel Retail Americas.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional commercial strategy for Latin America and Travel Retail Americas, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives and local market dynamics.
- Develop and optimise go-to-market models across subsidiaries, distributors, key accounts and travel-retail operators to maximise revenue and market penetration.
- Own full P&L responsibility for Mexico and lead the Mexico City office, ensuring delivery against financial targets and operational efficiency.
- Lead commercial planning processes including forecasting, budgeting and demand planning across the region.
- Analyse sell-in and sell-out performance and KPIs to inform data-driven decisions and corrective actions.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing regional team; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Serve as principal liaison between regional stakeholders and headquarters, ensuring cohesive execution of product launches, pricing and trade terms.
- Represent the brand externally, strengthening relationships with distributors, travel-retail partners and key accounts.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury goods, beauty or eyewear, with demonstrable responsibility for regional results.
- Proven track record of driving growth across LATAM and Travel Retail Americas, including distributor and key-account management.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and experience managing a regional office or country operations (Mexico preferred).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-influence skills at senior and headquarters levels.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the region and operate within a matrix, international organisation.
