About Thelios
Thélios is the LVMH Group's specialist in eyewear, designing, producing and distributing sunglasses and optical frames for the group's leading Maisons — including Dior, Fendi, Celine, Givenchy, Loewe and others — and operating its own brands such as Barton Perreira and Vuarnet. As part of the LVMH ecosystem, the company operates at the intersection of heritage craftsmanship and industrial expertise, collaborating closely with maison Brand, Design and Product teams.
Thélios (LVMH) in Paris seeks a Collection Merchandising Manager to lead multi‑Maison portfolio strategy and collection performance (hybrid, reporting to CPO).
Role & Responsibilities
- Define a multi‑Maison collection vision and portfolio architecture (segments, stylistic direction, functional offer, price structure, consumer targets) in alignment with Brand teams and the CPO.
- Establish and maintain a strategic merchandising grid (coverage, novelty vs carry‑over balance, channel relevance) to ensure coherence across markets and channels.
- Set and monitor collection performance KPIs (sell‑in / sell‑out dynamics, assortment balance, segment efficiency, margin evolution) and lead data‑driven performance reviews.
- Define target assortments, NPI strategy, renewal rates and product lifecycle rules per SKU segment (permanent, seasonal, limited, optical vs solar) in collaboration with SC, GTM and Product.
- Conduct ongoing market and trend surveillance (materials, consumer behaviour, competitive launches) and translate insights into actionable product and business opportunities.
- Support Brand and GTM teams on launch pillars and go‑to‑market alignment to ensure launches reflect portfolio priorities and strategic positioning.
- Identify structural gaps in assortment logic, channel fit or lifecycle strategy and recommend concrete corrective measures.
- Facilitate cross‑functional governance: refine briefs for Maison product development, share best practices and provide the commercial teams with strategic assortment guidance for Wholesale and Retail.
