The RealReal seeks a Warehouse Technician for its Authentication Center in Perth Amboy, supporting fulfillment and shipping through dock work, picking, packing, sorting, and inventory control. The role includes safe handling of luxury fashion items and general warehouse operations; the expected hourly rate is $16.00–$17.25, with starting pay varying by work location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle and care for luxury fashion items safely.
- Sort parcels by alphabetical and numerical designation.
- Palletize parcels and organize them by date and other designations.
- Sort and put away supplies in an organized manner.
- Inspect packaging and documentation for quality.
- Maintain supplies and organize inventory.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including safety and organization, housekeeping, and trash removal.
- Carry out other responsibilities assigned by Dock.
- Assist other departments with their needs.
- Communicate efficiently with ecommerce centers.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and signs.
- Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Punctuality and availability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 60 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate with upper management and other departments.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse equipment.
