The RealReal’s Quality Control Associate supports outbound operations by inspecting, recording, and updating quality attributes, conducting audits, and communicating training needs and performance gaps. The role is based onsite in Phoenix and pays an expected $18 hourly rate, with starting pay determined by location and candidate factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect, record, and update quality attributes for designated outbound functions.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with audit guidelines and UPH expectations.
- Collaborate with Training and Development to identify and deliver training and communications.
- Communicate knowledge, process, and skill gaps identified through inspections.
- Uphold and maintain company brand standards.
- Collaborate with the QC and Training Lead and the Outbound team.
- Foster a positive culture of learning, improvement, and total quality management.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in auditing, QC metrics, and return-rate metrics.
- Comprehensive understanding of the functional areas to be audited.
- Works well independently and takes initiative.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and deadlines.
- Proven ability to work quickly and effectively with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Google Forms, Google Sheets, and pivot tables.

The base compensation for this position is USD 18 per hour.
