The RealReal seeks an autonomous Luxury Sales Specialist with an established high-net-worth network to source luxury consignments, cultivate client relationships and coordinate item pickup, valuation and shipment. This is a remote, field-based, part-time role on a 100% commission-only basis, with uncapped commission, flexible scheduling, training and support, and eligibility for monthly performance competitions featuring cash bonuses and site credits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Leverage an established book of business, including VIP contacts, stylists, personal shoppers and affluent individuals, to source high-quality luxury consignments and bring new sellers to The RealReal.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients through personalized, white-glove service.
- Develop and execute independent outreach and networking strategies to secure high-end luxury consignments and deepen lasting client relationships.
- Secure luxury items from clients and coordinate pickup, valuation and secure shipment to authentication centers.
- Deliver a premium experience throughout the consignment lifecycle to support client retention and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Maintain an active personal and professional network capable of generating recurring, high-value luxury consignment opportunities and new sellers.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of and passion for leading luxury brands across handbags, fine jewelry, watches and ready-to-wear.
- Work independently, manage a personal schedule and drive results without daily oversight.
- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and business acumen in maintaining trust with high-net-worth individuals.
- Use CRM tools and digital platforms to manage a client pipeline.
- Travel within the regional market to meet clients on-site as needed.
- Hold a current, valid driver’s license, except in Manhattan and Chicago markets.
- Have car insurance that meets local requirements and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Preferred: current or prior experience in personal styling, luxury retail sales, real estate, interior design or high-end public relations.
