The RealReal is a US luxury consignment marketplace founded in 2011. It sells pre-owned fashion, jewelry, watches, art and home furnishings through its website and stores. Its teams authenticate, price and photograph goods before they go on sale.

Role & Responsibilities

• Achieve supply and demand goals by creating an exceptional client experience through superior service, clienteling, and partnership with Valuation Managers.
• Manage day-to-day support for Customer Experience Specialists and foster a positive, productive environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
• Train and develop Customer Experience Specialists in product knowledge, sales techniques, consignor education, and customer service.
• Maintain a diverse team and create an inclusive environment by prioritizing The RealReal’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training.
• Lead by example on the sales floor.
• Build brand loyalty by delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
• Lead the store team when the Store Manager is off site and flex between store roles as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in store management, preferably in the luxury or fashion industry.
• Experience in commissioned sales or retail and/or an operationally intensive business.
• Comfort performing routine employee check-ins and performance reviews to support training and development.
• Confidence and ability to strategically manage a sales floor, including scheduling, zoning, and coaching.
• Strong customer service orientation, clienteling abilities, floor management, and sales skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build relationships with multiple cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Passion for luxury fashion, sustainability, and The RealReal’s mission.
• Ability to lead by example in supporting internal and external customers through education and empowerment.
• Preferred: Knowledge of clienteling, consignment, sustainability, the circular economy, and luxury retail.
• Preferred: Skills in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Google Suite, and Apple hardware, with adaptability to other technology and systems provided.
• Preferred: Comfort with technology and learning multiple software applications to complete daily deliverables and teach or support others in learning them.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 65581.10 to USD 74949.60 per annum.
