Coach / Tapestry seeks a Manager, Wholesale in Shanghai: lead wholesale strategy, key accounts and revenue growth for the brand in China.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the wholesale commercial strategy for the China market in alignment with global brand priorities and regional targets.
- Manage and develop relationships with key wholesale partners, national accounts and multi-brand retailers to drive sell-in, sell-through and margin performance.
- Own sales forecasting, budgeting and monthly/quarterly performance reviews; identify growth opportunities and remedial actions to meet revenue objectives.
- Lead assortment planning, allocation and seasonal product introductions with merchandising and supply-chain teams to optimise inventory and availability.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and promotional activity with wholesale clients while protecting brand positioning and retail discipline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, visual merchandising, e‑commerce and retail operations to ensure cohesive brand presentation and customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and channel performance to inform strategic decisions and product recommendations.
- Coach and develop internal stakeholders and external partners to elevate commercial capabilities and execution standards.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in wholesale or omnichannel sales within premium or luxury fashion, leather goods or accessories.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, P&L responsibility and margin management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and negotiate with key accounts and trade partners at a senior level.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in business-level Mandarin; professional English proficiency preferred.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in wholesale sales or commercial roles within the luxury or premium fashion sector, including direct responsibility for national accounts or distributor networks and evidence of meeting revenue and margin targets.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant executive education is advantageous.
