Warehouse Distribution Associate at Tapestry, Jacksonville, FL. Order fulfillment, picking & packing role Thursday–Sunday, 6:00am–4:30pm ET. $17.50/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process volume according to productivity, accuracy, and team standards while meeting established deadlines
  • Pick, pack, and process products safely and accurately, including specialized services such as price ticket removal, reticketing, gift packaging, and crimping
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and department-specific software to determine product status and resolve operational issues
  • Conduct effective problem-solving within functional areas, including order audits and carton issue resolution
  • Assist with carton and corrugate preparation, breakdown, and disposal as needed
  • Replenish usable totes and bins throughout the department
  • Manage tote replenishment line operations and problem resolution processes
  • Research and process inventory shortages and no-read diversions
  • Break down and distribute tickets accurately across workstations
  • Sort and offload cartons to and from pallets and conveyor systems as required
  • Assist with carton packing, dunnage placement, and sealing operations
  • Operate hand pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Communicate promptly with team leadership regarding equipment or workstation malfunctions
  • Maintain comprehensive housekeeping standards throughout the department
  • Demonstrate flexibility to support adjacent departments as operationally required
  • Practice and enforce safe work habits, including proactive communication of safety concerns
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow instructions consistently and maintain self-motivation
  • Capacity for frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and work at various heights
  • Proficiency in reaching, walking, bending, leaning, pushing, pulling, and manual dexterity
  • Willingness to work overtime or flexible scheduling as operational needs dictate
