Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in New York, NY (World Trade Center) — part-time retail stylist role with flexible schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, establish rapport and demonstrate authoritative product knowledge across categories.
- Provide personalised styling advice, build complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase basket size.
- Guide customers through the purchase process and execute accurate POS transactions to ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Use creative merchandising on the sales floor to showcase multiple ways to wear product and inspire repeat visits.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, replenishment and accurate inventory handling.
- Adopt omni-channel selling methods, including virtual selling and social media engagement, to drive results.
- Meet physical requirements of the role, including regularly lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and managing stockroom activity.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer-facing sales success.
- Demonstrable ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, peak shopping periods and public holidays.
