Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in Freeport, ME — part-time retail role with $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Develop and nurture client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and follow-up to encourage repeat purchases and lifetime loyalty.
- Drive sales performance via cross-selling, upselling and execution of individual sales plans to meet or exceed KPIs.
- Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live-stream shopping) to capture client data and convert traffic.
- Execute daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap, receive shipments, replenish stock and support inventory cycles.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure sales floor and stockroom are clean, organized and properly stocked.
- Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and participate in brand initiatives and training.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills (iPad/laptop); experience using walkie-talkies and reading price/release sheets.
- Social media savvy and familiarity with live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in sales floor and stockroom environments.

Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience is preferred. Candidates with a combination of relevant education and sales experience will also be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and experience considered.

This position is based in Freeport, Maine, USA, within easy reach of Portland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
