Coach (Tapestry) is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in Austin, TX (The Domain) — part-time role focused on clienteling and omni-channel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the brand ambassador on the sales floor, delivering elevated, personalized service in line with Coach style and service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets via cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Use Mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video and live demos) to capture customer data and close omni-channel sales.
- Perform daily retail operations: cash wrap, transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Maintain a well-organized, fully stocked sales floor and stockroom; follow POS, retail policies and asset protection procedures.
- Support team performance by assisting colleagues across functional areas and fostering a collaborative, trust-based environment.
- Participate in brand trainings, campaigns and inclusion initiatives; remain adaptable to feedback and changing business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience with Mobile POS, clienteling platforms and social selling is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Able to lift regularly up to 25 lb (up to 50 lb occasionally) and perform physical tasks (climb, bend, kneel, maneuver stockroom).
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience; previous luxury retail or high-end boutique experience strongly preferred, including direct selling, clienteling and use of POS/clienteling technologies.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary study in retail, fashion or related fields is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
