Kate Spade New York in Mirabel, QC (Premium Outlets Montreal) is hiring a Temporary Retail Associate (part‑time).
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide warm, confident client welcome and role as a trusted stylist—listen, ask targeted questions and recommend products that fit each customer’s aesthetic and lifestyle.
- Create complete looks through product pairing and styling, suggest complementary items and demonstrate multiple ways to wear Kate Spade products.
- Drive sales through relationship building, storytelling and effective clienteling across in‑store and virtual touchpoints.
- Execute point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, support omnichannel fulfilment and maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Maintain visual presentation and assist with merchandising to showcase seasonal collections and promotions.
- Give and receive constructive feedback; invite customers to return and foster long‑term loyalty.
- Perform physical tasks as required: lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manage stockroom inventory.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Previous experience in a retail environment; experience in fashion or premium retail preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with social media and an eagerness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques.
- Fluency in English (or local market language) and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; experience in fashion or premium/luxury retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework in fashion, merchandising or visual merchandising is an asset.

This position is based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, within easy reach of Montreal.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 16.60 to CAD 19 per hour.
