Kate Spade New York in Foley, AL is hiring a Temporary Retail Associate (part-time) to deliver styling, sales and exceptional customer service. Pay $15.00–$19.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests with warmth and product knowledge; establish rapport and assess individual style preferences.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks, suggesting add-ons to increase basket size.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and integrate Kate Spade pieces; inspire customers to explore new styles.
- Drive sales through storytelling, consultative selling and follow-through to a seamless checkout.
- Maintain operational standards including POS transactions, stockroom organization, merchandising and inventory handling.
- Support omni-channel initiatives and virtual selling when applicable; participate in social selling activities.
- Accept and provide constructive feedback; collaborate with colleagues to meet store objectives.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays; perform routine physical tasks including regular lifting (up to 25 lbs) and occasional heavier lifts (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal communication.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; luxury or specialty retail experience is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and meet the role's physical requirements.

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment with demonstrated customer-facing sales or styling responsibilities; experience in luxury or specialty retail preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or sales training preferred.
