Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised styling and product advice to customers, creating complete looks and suggesting add-ons to increase basket value.
• Engage guests with warmth and expert product knowledge to build long-term client relationships and repeat business.
• Drive sales through storytelling, active listening and tailored recommendations while meeting individual and store KPIs.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensure an efficient checkout experience and maintain accurate transaction procedures.
• Maintain visual and operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including organization and inventory replenishment.
• Collaborate with colleagues through open feedback, participate in training, and support omnichannel selling initiatives (virtual/remote consultations).
• Perform physical tasks associated with retail operations: lifting merchandise, bending, climbing fixtures and maintaining the sales environment.

Qualifications

• Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication.
• Prior experience in a retail environment; experience in fashion or accessories retail preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and work effectively within a team.
• Comfortable using social media and a willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
• Able to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; able to bend, kneel and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Skills

Experience

Prior retail experience is required; experience in fashion, accessories or luxury retail and hands‑on styling/clienteling is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Workplace

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
