Kate Spade New York in Livermore, CA seeks a part-time Retail Stylist. Deliver personalised styling, drive sales, and support omni-channel service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer engagement by greeting guests warmly, actively listening and asking insightful questions to understand needs and preferences.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create coordinated looks that incorporate Kate Spade products, suggesting add-ons to increase basket size.
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and use storytelling to connect product features to customer lifestyles.
- Manage the point-of-sale process to ensure a seamless checkout experience and accurate transactions.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, assist with inventory and merchandising tasks.
- Drive sales results through strong customer relationships, follow-up and invitation to return.
- Adapt to omni-channel and virtual selling methods and promote the brand on social platforms when appropriate.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods; perform light to moderate physical tasks including regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with omni-channel retail practices and eagerness to learn virtual selling techniques.
- Flexible availability to cover retail peaks, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for retail operations (lifting, bending, climbing).

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred, with proven ability to meet sales targets and provide personalised styling advice.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail or fashion-related coursework advantageous.
