Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example on the sales floor to drive personal and store sales performance and meet KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve results.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, clienteling and Kate Spade service standards to drive repeat business and VIP retention.
  • Model and coach Kate Spade service behaviours—greeting, needs discovery and conversational selling—to elevate team selling skills and customer experiences.
  • Recruit, onboard and train sales associates; provide regular feedback and development planning to support individual and team growth.
  • Ensure operational excellence: supervise opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding duties.
  • Oversee inventory integrity and stockroom organisation: process POS transactions, transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs and damages.
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives including live-stream shopping; lead customer data capture to grow loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Promote brand-safe social media engagement and maintain awareness of platform trends to support store marketing and outreach.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of retail experience in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Social media literacy and familiarity with platform trends.
  • Comfort using omni-channel/virtual selling tools, clienteling systems and POS platforms.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical duties on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience

At least two years in a retail service environment with documented experience in floor leadership or management; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. A combination of formal education and practical retail experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or vocational training in retail, merchandising or customer service preferred. Combination of education and experience accepted.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
