Tapestry Store Operations Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations to ensure seamless customer service, brand presentation and adherence to operating procedures.
- Drive sales performance and KPIs through tactical execution, coaching and real-time performance management.
- Recruit, develop and retain retail talent; deliver ongoing training, performance reviews and succession planning.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, visual merchandising standards and floor moves to maximize sell-through.
- Manage cash handling, store loss-prevention programs and compliance with corporate governance and safety policies.
- Create staffing schedules, control labor costs and collaborate with HR on payroll and timekeeping processes.
- Execute clienteling and CRM initiatives to build long-term customer relationships and increase repeat business.
- Partner with district/regional leadership and cross-functional teams (merchandising, digital, logistics) to implement promotional and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a retail environment with a strong record of developing teams and driving sales.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen; ability to interpret sales reports and translate data into actionable plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in inventory, merchandising and compliance tasks.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive retail management experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion, with a track record of leading teams (often 10–30 staff) and delivering consistent sales growth and service excellence.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, fashion or related field preferred.
