Coach is hiring a Store Manager in Sydney — lead store operations, sales and team development for Coach (Tapestry).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead store performance to achieve sales, profitability and productivity targets across all channels.
  • Develop and execute local business plans responsive to customer behaviour and market trends.
  • Drive a service-first culture through personalised clienteling and exemplary customer experience.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a diverse, high-performing team; set clear objectives and deliver regular feedback.
  • Manage day-to-day store operations including inventory control, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation strictly adhere to brand standards.
  • Resolve customer concerns with urgency and professionalism to protect brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate partners to align on initiatives and share best practices.
  • Represent the brand in the local community and maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

  • 1–6 years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to build, coach and retain motivated teams with a focus on development and engagement.
  • Demonstrable business acumen with a track record of meeting sales and operational targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to foster trust and clarity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail systems (labor management, inventory and sales reporting).
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape; interest in digital engagement and social media.
  • Capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment and work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

Experience
