Kate Spade New York seeks a Store Leader in Kittery, Maine to lead store operations, clienteling and team development at Kittery Premium Outlets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations to maximize sales productivity and profitability while maintaining brand service standards.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop and retain a high-performing retail team; provide ongoing coaching, performance management and career development.
  • Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies (CRM usage, proactive outreach, virtual appointments, ship-from-store, BOPIS) to grow conversion, AOV and UPT.
  • Own financial performance: forecast, plan and deliver against sales and productivity goals using selling reports and data-driven action plans.
  • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising and brand storytelling through displays, windows and store maintenance.
  • Oversee operational compliance including opening/closing routines, cash handling, bank deposits, scheduling, payroll and loss prevention.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, capture customer feedback and share product insights with cross-functional partners.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and CRM systems for reporting, communication and operational tasks; support social and live/virtual selling initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of store leadership in retail or service; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
  • Proven record of sales leadership, coaching, stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills, conflict mediation capability, time management and interpersonal savvy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM/clienteling tools.
  • Social media literacy and understanding of live/virtual selling trends.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical stockroom/sales floor tasks.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
