Kate Spade New York (London) seeks a Store Construction Project Manager to lead retail fit-out projects across EMEAI. Temporary, full-time position based in London.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and manage end-to-end execution of multiple store construction and fit-out projects across the EMEAI region for direct and indirect channels.
  • Develop critical paths and detailed project timelines using Microsoft Project; monitor milestones and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, create and manage project budgets, drive cost optimisation and conclude budgetary closeouts within target timeframes.
  • Lead tendering and procurement processes, perform bid analysis and provide award recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Review construction fit-out drawings from contractors and vendors and conduct quality reviews to ensure alignment with brand standards and industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain SBO (Supplied by Owner) logs, manage millwork deliveries with Production partners, and maintain project and design files.
  • Produce regular status reports tracking all project stages from landlord feedback and design development to material orders, vendor production and contractor progress.
  • Develop and maintain historical regional construction cost data and share learning across cross-functional Tapestry teams.
  • Communicate changes to project plans to all relevant stakeholders and collaborate closely with internal and external cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Travel to project locations across the region as required and support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience in retail construction, store fit-out or retail build projects.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, tender processes and delivering projects within cost targets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with industry-specific software and procurement platforms such as AutoCAD, Procore and Workday (Scout).
  • Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to prioritise in a fast-moving international environment.
  • Collaborative working style with demonstrated ability to partner across multiple internal and external teams.

Experience

3–5 years of demonstrable retail construction or store fit-out project management experience across multiple markets.
