Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Site Merchandising Assistant in New York, NY to support online product presentation and merchandising operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day online merchandising operations, including creation and maintenance of product detail pages, category pages and promotional content.
- Execute site launches and promotional calendars by coordinating asset uploads, product tagging, pricing updates and cross-functional approvals.
- Maintain site taxonomy and ensure accurate product metadata, inventory indicators and availability messaging.
- Coordinate with buying, planning, e-commerce, creative and marketing teams to align assortment presentation with commercial and brand strategies.
- Perform quality assurance on imagery, copy and product configurations across desktop and mobile; troubleshoot display or content issues with technical teams.
- Monitor sales and site performance metrics; prepare regular merchandising reports and support A/B tests and optimization initiatives.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to product onboarding, catalog maintenance and cross-channel merchandising projects.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, digital retail or related retail merchandising role preferred.
- Proven attention to detail with experience managing product content and site-facing assets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Analytical aptitude with experience using sales or web analytics to inform merchandising decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, fashion or a related field preferred.

Typically 1–2 years in e-commerce merchandising, digital retail, or merchandising support within fashion or luxury retail. Experience working with cross-functional teams (buying, marketing, operations) and exposure to web analytics is preferred.
Education
