Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment for Malaysia retail roles across permanent, part-time, seasonal and internship hiring cycles.
• Design and execute store-level sourcing strategies using referrals, open days, vendors, job boards and employer-branding initiatives to attract frontline retail talent.
• Partner with Retail Leaders, Regional Directors, Area Managers and HRBPs to deliver timely, high-quality hiring decisions and provide hiring advisory support.
• Act as a talent advisor by delivering market insight, competitor intelligence and clear hiring recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines and conduct exploratory interviews to support succession planning and high-volume retail intake.
• Measure and report on talent analytics — hiring effectiveness, cost-per-hire, time-to-fill and sourcing performance — to inform continuous improvement.
• Represent the company as a brand ambassador in the market and contribute to regional TA or HR projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience, ideally within a multinational corporation.
• Proven track record in frontline/volume retail hiring or the service industry.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management, communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Data-driven and commercially minded mindset; comfortable extracting and using recruitment metrics to influence decisions.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.

Minimum five years' experience in talent acquisition, preferably within an MNC environment and with substantial exposure to frontline or volume retail hiring in fast-paced, high-volume settings.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
