Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain forward-looking wholesale marketplace forecasts and inventory plans that align with commercial targets and margin objectives.
  • Define assortment strategies and SKU-level buy plans for marketplace and wholesale channel partners, balancing in-season replenishment and promotional cadence.
  • Drive end-to-end allocation and replenishment processes, ensuring optimal in-country and in-market inventory flow across third-party marketplaces and wholesale accounts.
  • Partner with commercial, merchandising, supply chain and finance stakeholders to translate sell-through signals into inventory actions and to manage inventory risk.
  • Create and deliver regular performance reporting and KPI analysis (sell-through, turn, DC cover, ageing), using data to recommend pricing, promotional and clearance strategies.
  • Lead marketplace vendor relationships and onboarding requirements, coordinating product listings, content alignment and marketplace-specific assortment execution.
  • Own S&OP and periodic planning deliverables for wholesale marketplace, including scenario modelling, what-if analysis and P&L impact assessments.
  • Mentor junior planners and influence cross-functional teams to improve planning cadence, tools and inventory hygiene.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of planning, merchandising or commercial analytics experience within wholesale, marketplace or multi-channel retail; luxury/fashion experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and execute SKU-level buy plans and to manage inventory across multiple channels and geographies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to influence commercial decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability, with attention to margin, markdown and inventory risk management.
