Tapestry (Coach) seeks a Sr. Manager, Strategy in New York, NY to lead international growth strategy and cross‑functional strategic initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define international growth priorities across APAC, EMEAI and emerging markets by assessing market attractiveness, consumer dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop outside‑in perspectives on market size, TAM, consumer trends and growth headroom; synthesize macro and consumer insights into actionable implications for brands and regions.
- Advise on 'how to win' in priority markets—translate positioning, targeting and capability implications into clear recommendations.
- Partner with international business units and cross‑functional teams (e.g., Tech, Supply Chain, People & Org) to pressure‑test plans, align priorities and sequence investments.
- Frame strategic choices for leadership: structure key questions, develop options, clarify tradeoffs and define assumptions, risks and success criteria.
- Support enterprise‑level narratives and materials for Executive Committee and Board discussions and contribute to quarterly strategy updates.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to develop and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capabilities with comfort building market sizing, TAM assessments and financial/quantitative models.
- Demonstrated experience working on international expansion or regional market strategies, ideally within retail, luxury or consumer brands.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; experience aligning disparate business units around shared priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including executive storytelling and preparation of Board/executive materials.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading multi‑disciplinary projects across geographies.

Experience
Approximately 7+ years of progressive strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy or commercial strategy experience, with demonstrable work on international markets and cross‑functional transformation programs.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business, strategy, economics or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 150,000 to USD 165,000 per annum.
