Tapestry, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager for Store Construction Procurement in New York to lead strategic sourcing and vendor management across global store construction and design categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead procurement strategy for Store Construction, Design, and Architecture categories, balancing commercial value, project timelines, quality, risk, and stakeholder needs
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to understand business priorities, align sourcing strategies, and support execution across new stores, remodels, relocations, and rollouts
- Own and execute sourcing initiatives, RFx events, bid analysis, supplier recommendations, negotiations, and final award recommendations
- Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, value creation, supplier consolidation, and broader procurement target initiatives
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management, including commercial terms, pricing, scope alignment, service expectations, and execution readiness
- Build strong relationships with general contractors, architects, millworkers, fixture suppliers, installers, and other construction-related vendors
- Partner closely with internal business stakeholders to identify and execute value-generating opportunities
- Develop business cases that quantify savings, avoided cost, operational benefits, and procurement impact
- Present sourcing strategies, supplier recommendations, savings opportunities, and business cases to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Oversee sourcing workstreams and major procurement initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment, timely execution, and achievement of business objectives
- Identify process improvement opportunities across intake, sourcing, vendor engagement, approvals, contracting, and project handoff
- Use spend data, project pipeline visibility, supplier performance, and market insights to identify sourcing opportunities and improve decision-making
- Lead, coach, and develop procurement team members while establishing best practices, governance, and sourcing discipline across Store Construction procurement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8–10 years of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Store Construction, Store Development, Architecture, Construction Services, or related category experience
- Strong experience in construction-related procurement categories, including general contractors, architectural services, construction materials, store fixtures, furniture, millwork, lighting, flooring, installations, and related services
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology with the ability to apply structure while managing business exceptions pragmatically
- Demonstrated ability to influence Director, VP, and executive-level stakeholders across complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated negotiation and contract management experience, with strong commercial acumen and ability to drive measurable value
- Experience managing supplier relationships and driving accountability across cost, quality, service, timeline, and performance expectations
- Strong analytical capabilities, including spend analysis, bid evaluation, business case development, and executive-ready reporting
- Strong leadership presence, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-framing skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and keep projects moving across multiple stakeholders and priorities
Skills
Experience
8–10 years of strategic sourcing, procurement, store construction, store development, architecture, or construction services experience. Preferred: deep store construction or store development expertise with significant experience in construction-related procurement categories including general contractors, architectural services, construction materials, store fixtures, furniture, millwork, lighting, flooring, and installations. Required knowledge of materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, quality management, shop drawings, and store construction execution is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 per annum.
