Tapestry seeks a Senior Manager, Human Resources in New York, NY to lead HR strategy and employee relations for its luxury brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives across corporate and retail functions, translating global people priorities into local initiatives.
- Partner with senior business leaders to deliver workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession plans that secure critical capabilities for growth.
- Lead employee relations case management and provide pragmatic, legally compliant guidance to leaders on performance, disciplinary and conduct matters.
- Design and implement performance management, compensation and recognition programs to motivate high performance and retain key talent.
- Drive leadership development, coaching and training interventions to elevate manager capability and embed a culture of continuous feedback.
- Oversee HR policy interpretation and local compliance with employment law, contracts and regulatory requirements.
- Lead or contribute to change management for organizational restructures, store openings/closings and major program rollouts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, PHR/SPHR).
- Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in the U.S. or relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven ability to advise senior leaders and influence outcomes in a matrixed, multi‑brand organization.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience aligning people programs to retail/consumer business objectives.

Experience
Approximately 7+ years of progressive human resources experience, including significant exposure to talent management, employee relations and HR program ownership; retail, luxury goods, or consumer products experience strongly preferred with prior leadership of cross-functional HR initiatives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
