Role & Responsibilities
- Own strategic and operational execution of product investment across Retail, eCommerce and Wholesale for Europe, driving in‑season performance against sales, margin and inventory targets.
- Develop and deliver omni‑channel buying and assortment strategies aligned across Retail, Wholesale and Marketplace to maximise consumer engagement and commercial performance.
- Manage all European wholesale accounts, leading commercial negotiations, account planning and tailored assortment strategies informed by regional and account performance.
- Define and execute seasonal and long‑term commercial planning (AOP, LRP, OTB), identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
- Lead end‑to‑end seasonal processes — buy reviews, hindsight analysis, market execution and milestone calendar management — ensuring cross‑functional alignment.
- Drive weekly and seasonal trade cadence (e.g. WSRM, trade meetings), providing financial insight, performance analysis and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Analyse product performance, customer insights, competitor activity and market trends to inform trading decisions and influence global merchandising direction.
- Partner with Inventory Planning and Finance to manage inventory health (WOH, turns), OTB, forecasting, provisioning and returns to optimise stock positioning.
- Own allocation and distribution strategy across Retail and Wholesale, aligned to floor sets, peak trading and account requirements.
- Oversee wholesale market execution including assortment presentation, order collection, door strategy and delivery tracking.
- Drive trading activities including promotional planning, ATS swaps and in‑season optimisation to maximise sell‑through and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships with Sales, Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, VM, Production and Customer Experience.
- Conduct market and store visits to identify opportunities, strengthen account relationships and monitor competitive execution.
- Champion best practices and operational excellence, ensuring accuracy in systems (e.g. RPAS/Cora) and continuous process improvement.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering commercial acumen and leadership capability.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in retail merchandising, buying or trading, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or accessories.
- Proven track record of delivering sales, margin and inventory targets.
- Deep understanding of omnichannel retail (stores & digital) and wholesale account management.
- Advanced analytical and financial acumen with hands‑on experience using planning tools such as RPAS, Cora and Excel.
- Experience operating within global, matrix organisations and presenting to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to inspire, develop and retain talent.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills across multiple functions.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, proactive and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.

Significant experience in retail merchandising, buying or trading with a proven record of delivering sales, margin and inventory objectives; experience in omnichannel and wholesale environments within fashion, lifestyle or accessories; prior leadership experience in a global matrix organisation.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or a related discipline preferred.
