Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Senior Manager, Account Executive in New York, NY to lead wholesale account strategy and drive shipment growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic account partner for key wholesale customers, driving shipment and retail sales growth.
- Continuously analyze account performance, reforecast business accurately, and implement account-specific strategies to meet plan targets.
- Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) to balance topline growth, profitability and inventory efficiency while meeting shipment goals.
- Influence category assortments through product-performance analysis, customer feedback, consumer trends and competitive/local market insights.
- Partner with Inventory Management and Operations to ensure shipment goals, marketing calendars and profitability are aligned.
- Collaborate with field teams to gather qualitative store- and customer-level insights that inform account strategies.
- Lead market-week planning for key accounts and deliver tailored, actionable recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strategic retail partnerships; act as a trusted advisor and develop customized business solutions to expand distribution and sales.
- Oversee order management and provide creative solutions to meet or exceed shipment targets.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships (Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, Field) and champion initiatives that enhance account performance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on account strategy and best practices; travel as required for local market and quarterly visits.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of buying, wholesale account management or relevant retail/brand partnership experience.
- Footwear category experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in strategic account management and driving wholesale growth.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including retail math and forecasting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Superior communication and presentation skills with a consumer-focused mindset.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mentality and demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.

5–7+ years of progressive buying or wholesale account management experience, ideally with footwear or accessories within a wholesale or brand environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
