Tapestry seeks Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer in New York to lead DevSecOps strategy and infrastructure delivery. $130K–$140K annual.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive realization of the multi-year Infrastructure Automation roadmap and DevSecOps strategy
- Investigate and incubate infrastructure automation opportunities to optimize deployment and management
- Own end-to-end delivery of infrastructure automation features across multiple environments
- Develop, test, and deploy configurations using automated CI/CD pipelines
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Write production-quality code to deliver features at speed while maintaining reliability
- Develop, maintain, and support system standards through configuration management, automation templates, scripting, and version control practices
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on IT Infrastructure experience with at least 3–4 years working with Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation
- Professional competence in cloud architecture principles across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Demonstrated expertise implementing Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines
- Advanced proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, and EKS
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and JSON manipulation
- Proficiency in bash shell scripting and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory concepts
- Familiarity with networking, VMware, and storage technologies
- Understanding of cloud networking and security concepts including VPCs and security groups
- Working knowledge of cloud identity management, particularly IAM
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud service delivery models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and process flowcharts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

7+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with at least 3–4 years specifically in infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation), DevOps methodologies, and agile working practices. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of designing and implementing scalable automation solutions in globally distributed environments, with proven experience managing cloud infrastructure at scale and delivering infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge and expertise in infrastructure automation and cloud technologies.
