Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Senior Ecommerce Analyst in Greater London (12‑month contract) to drive digital growth through analysis, testing and AI‑driven insights.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on site performance (traffic, bounce rates, session duration, conversions) across daily, weekly and monthly cadences and benchmark against historical and industry standards.
  • Measure marketing economics including CPA and customer lifetime value and present commercial implications to stakeholders.
  • Produce and distribute actionable reports and dashboards (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with visualisations, trend analysis and KPI tracking.
  • Design, execute and analyse A/B and multivariate tests with clear hypotheses; measure statistical significance and uplift on key metrics (add‑to‑cart, checkout completion, bounce).
  • Conduct funnel and segmentation analyses to identify drop‑off points and behavioural patterns by audience to inform optimisation priorities.
  • Recommend UX and content improvements using heatmaps, session replays and user‑flow analysis to improve conversion paths.
  • Identify SEO opportunities via organic traffic and keyword/landing‑page analysis.
  • Create and maintain measurement plans that align campaign objectives and business goals; ensure KPIs are tracked consistently across platforms.
  • Audit and validate analytics implementations (e.g., GA4 tags, Snowflake pipelines), troubleshoot data discrepancies and maintain documentation and governance for tracking setups.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product and UX teams to translate data and AI insights into commercial strategies and roadmap items.
  • Work with the global reporting team to maintain Tableau reports, troubleshoot data issues and share learnings and new tools with the Ecommerce team.
  • Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies (predictive analytics, AI‑driven insights) and share quarterly industry learnings with wider teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of analytics experience with a focus on ecommerce within retail environments.
  • Proficiency in web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Hands‑on experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) and SQL/Excel for analysis.
  • Practical experience with ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify) and scripting in Python.
  • Experience using behavioural analytics platforms such as Content Square (heatmaps, session replays).
  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and GA4 implementations; experience auditing Snowflake pipelines.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and analysing A/B and multivariate tests and interpreting statistical significance.
  • Ability to translate complex data and AI/ML concepts into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.
  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).

Experience

At least four years of progressive analytics experience, ideally within ecommerce/retail contexts, with demonstrated ownership of conversion optimisation, experimentation and cross‑functional reporting; practical use of SQL, Python and modern analytics/BI stacks is expected.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing) or equivalent practical experience.
