Tapestry seeks a Senior Director, APAC Consumer Insights & Strategy in Singapore to lead regional consumer research and strategic planning across its brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and lead end-to-end consumer insights and regional strategy for APAC, encompassing Greater China, North Asia and Southeast Asia & Oceania.
- Translate consumer research into actionable commercial recommendations across the 5Ps (product, price, place, promotion, people) to inform brand growth plans and go-to-market execution.
- Partner closely with APAC brand presidents, regional leadership and global cross-functional stakeholders to align consumer-driven priorities and measurement frameworks.
- Design and oversee quantitative and qualitative research programs, segmentation, ethnography, voice-of-customer, and competitive intelligence; commission and manage external research vendors where required.
- Synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive narratives and presentations for senior executives; set KPIs and track performance of insight-led initiatives.
- Build, mentor and scale a regional insights team; set resourcing priorities and manage budget for regional research activities.
Qualifications
- Proven senior leadership experience in consumer insights, market research or brand strategy within fashion, luxury or premium consumer goods.
- Deep understanding of APAC markets—with demonstrable experience across Greater China, North Asia and Southeast Asia & Oceania.
- Track record of translating consumer insight into commercial growth strategies and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with experience briefing C-suite and brand presidents.
- Experience managing external research partners, vendors and regional research programs.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, anthropology or related field preferred.
