Tapestry (Coach) seeks a Senior Allocation Analyst — North America Collection Handbags in New York, NY to own handbag allocations, inventory splits and back-in-stock strategies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end allocation for North America collection handbags, managing allocations for +400 seasonal SKUs across stores and ecommerce.
- Set and execute inventory splits between store and online channels and balance inventory across multiple distribution centers.
- Design and implement back-in-stock strategies and replenishment plans for high-profile and sell-through styles.
- Analyze sales, inventory and flow-through metrics to inform allocation tactics that support department financial targets.
- Collaborate closely with Buying partners, Center of Excellence, planning, replenishment and merchandising teams to align strategies and communicate allocation rationale.
- Maintain and validate allocation and reporting data; ensure consistency and share best practices across the allocation team.
- Generate forward-looking ideas and strategic initiatives to optimize inventory productivity and minimize out-of-stocks.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines and present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of allocation experience or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable allocation and replenishment plans.
- Strong strategic thinking with demonstrated impact on financial or operational results.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable influencing cross-functional and field partners.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Skills
Experience
At least 2+ years of hands-on allocation experience in apparel, accessories or retail merchandising environments, including managing allocations across store and ecommerce channels and working with allocation/reporting systems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Analytics or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 85,000 per annum.
