Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end allocation for North America collection handbags, managing allocations for +400 seasonal SKUs across stores and ecommerce.
  • Set and execute inventory splits between store and online channels and balance inventory across multiple distribution centers.
  • Design and implement back-in-stock strategies and replenishment plans for high-profile and sell-through styles.
  • Analyze sales, inventory and flow-through metrics to inform allocation tactics that support department financial targets.
  • Collaborate closely with Buying partners, Center of Excellence, planning, replenishment and merchandising teams to align strategies and communicate allocation rationale.
  • Maintain and validate allocation and reporting data; ensure consistency and share best practices across the allocation team.
  • Generate forward-looking ideas and strategic initiatives to optimize inventory productivity and minimize out-of-stocks.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines and present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of allocation experience or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable allocation and replenishment plans.
  • Strong strategic thinking with demonstrated impact on financial or operational results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable influencing cross-functional and field partners.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Experience

At least 2+ years of hands-on allocation experience in apparel, accessories or retail merchandising environments, including managing allocations across store and ecommerce channels and working with allocation/reporting systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Analytics or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
