Tapestry seeks a Senior Accounting Analyst in Shanghai for financial operations across Coach and Kate Spade New York brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform cash collection and expense reconciliation for SIS stores, tenancy stores, and e-commerce channels
- Analyze accounts receivable aging and assess bad debt risk exposure
- Reconcile store inventory and support physical stock-take operations
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analysis
- Provide local statutory audit support in accordance with applicable GAAP standards
- Maintain compliance with Tapestry's internal SOX controls and requirements
- Assist with indirect and direct tax return filings, payments, and related deliverables
- Process journal entries related to occupancy, SG&A accruals, inter-company transactions, FX accounting, inventory, gross margin, and payroll
- Participate in ad-hoc projects including AI/robotic process automation and tax compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience in Accounting/Finance at a multinational company or professional accounting firm
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience in the retail industry
- Business-level verbal and written English proficiency
- SAP S4 knowledge in General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Receivable modules (preferred)
- Experience with Blackline accounting software (preferred)

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional accounting and finance experience within a multinational enterprise or professional accounting firm, with demonstrated expertise in retail operations accounting.
Education
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting and Finance.
