Tapestry seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst in Singapore to lead security operations and detection engineering across APAC, balancing incident response with proactive threat defense.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across SIEM, EDR, email security, identity, cloud, and network platforms
- Investigate suspicious activity, determine scope and impact, and drive incidents to resolution through evidence collection, timeline analysis, and root-cause investigation
- Tune security alerts to improve signal quality and reduce false-positive noise
- Translate adversary behaviors, tactics, techniques, and procedures into actionable detection opportunities using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
- Build, test, validate, and improve detection logic across enterprise security tools and platforms
- Partner with red team, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security engineering teams to assess control effectiveness and identify gaps
- Convert purple team findings into practical improvements including new alerts, enhanced telemetry, hardened configurations, response playbooks, and mitigation recommendations
- Support incident readiness through development of playbooks, tabletop exercises, and response process improvements
- Measure detection quality, coverage rates, false-positive metrics, and operational response readiness
- Document investigations, response actions, lessons learned, and recommended improvements for continuous enhancement of security defenses
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in security operations, incident response, or threat detection
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and cloud security monitoring
- Strong understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures aligned with cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience developing or tuning detection logic and security rules
- Familiarity with incident management processes and investigation methodologies
- Knowledge of identity, network, and cloud security principles
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, threat detection, or a related security discipline. Proven track record of investigating security incidents, developing detections, or supporting defensive security operations in enterprise environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience and relevant industry certifications (such as CompTIA Security+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler, or similar).
