Kate Spade New York Seasonal Sales Associate — part-time, seasonal role in Commerce, California at CITAdel Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with confident, brand-forward service and deep product knowledge.
- Provide personalized styling advice and build complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product across categories.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, storytelling and strategic add-on recommendations.
- Execute omnichannel selling and virtual client interactions to convert and retain customers.
- Complete accurate POS transactions and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Maintain visual and operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including inventory handling and organization.
- Contribute to a positive store culture by giving and receiving constructive feedback and supporting team objectives.
- Perform physical tasks as required: lift merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), restock, and manage floor movement.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably within fashion or accessories.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with omni/virtual selling techniques and social media awareness.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Physical ability to lift merchandise and perform typical retail duties.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience required; demonstrable customer-facing selling experience preferred, especially in fashion or accessory categories.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
