Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate in Richmond, BC (part-time) to operate POS, manage stock and deliver outstanding customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly, anticipate needs and deliver personalized, brand-aligned customer service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate POS accurately, manage cash/media in accordance with company policy, and maintain an organized cash wrap.
- Receive, process and organise shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom standards.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor and execute visual merchandising updates as directed.
- Promote add-on products and gift cards, capture customer information where permitted, and support local brand activation including social media engagement.
- Support loss prevention and housekeeping standards; assist the sales team and management to meet store KPIs during peak periods.
- Perform manual handling tasks regularly (lifting up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
- Proven cash handling and POS operation experience; familiarity with cash register systems and Mobile POS.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multitask in a high-volume retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail experience in cashier, stock or sales functions is required; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. A combination of formal education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail experience considered.

This position is based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
