Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Support Associate in Metairie, LA to manage POS, stockroom operations and client service at Lakeside Coach.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with professionalism, provide personalized assistance and ensure a memorable customer experience at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, manage cash/media in compliance with company policy, and maintain an organized cash wrap.
- Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and sustain stockroom cleanliness and organisation.
- Manage stock levels, replenish merchandise on the sales floor and execute visual merchandising updates as directed.
- Support sales-floor activity and respond to customer requests; promote add-on products and gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted.
- Adhere to loss-prevention protocols and maintain housekeeping standards across sales and stockroom areas.
- Act as a brand ambassador in-store and in the local market, supporting store social media engagement when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and awareness of marketplace competitors.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and competence multitasking in a high-volume retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak season; ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks (climb, bend, kneel).

Experience
At least 1 year of prior retail experience; prior cashier and stockroom experience preferred. Luxury retail background is advantageous. A combination of relevant education and practical retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and experience considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18.50 per hour.
