Coach — Elmont, NY: Part-time Sales Support Associate (temporary). Hourly pay $15.00–$21.75; POS, stockroom and client service responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalized service to deepen customer relationships.
  • Operate POS and cash wrap accurately; manage cash/media in compliance with company policy and maintain a tidy point-of-sale area.
  • Receive, process and organize shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organisation.
  • Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
  • Support sales floor activities by responding to customer requests, suggesting add-on products, promoting gift cards, and capturing customer information where permitted.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and within the local market; assist with social media engagement when requested.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards, adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market activity.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including use of iPad, laptop, Mobile POS and internet-based tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.

Experience

At least 1 year of prior retail experience; experience in luxury retail or customer-facing roles is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
