Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional client reception and personalized customer service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
• Operate POS and cash register systems accurately; manage cash/media in strict compliance with company policy.
• Process incoming shipments and transfers, report discrepancies, maintain stockroom organization and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand directives.
• Promote add-on sales including gift cards; capture customer information where permitted and support local brand visibility (including social media engagement).
• Support sales-floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with colleagues and management to meet business needs.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and assist in maintaining a secure retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market activity.
• Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS, Internet); ability to use walkie talkie and read price/product release sheets.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong English proficiency required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
• Physical ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and move throughout sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience is required, ideally including cashier or stockroom responsibilities; experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
