Coach in Deer Park, NY seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage POS, stockroom operations and client service at the Deer Park store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs and provide tailored assistance on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, manage cash/media in compliance with policy and maintain an organized cash wrap.
- Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization.
- Replenish sales floor inventory, execute visual merchandising updates and suggest add-on products or gift cards to increase conversion.
- Support daily sales-floor activities, respond to customer requests, and collaborate with management and colleagues to meet service goals.
- Uphold housekeeping and loss-prevention standards and support local brand representation, including social media engagement when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales); prior experience in luxury retail preferred; combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive marketplace activity.
- Familiarity with cash register systems and Mobile POS; comfortable using iPad/laptop and internet-enabled devices.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer-service skills; strong English proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

At least one year of prior retail experience is required, with preference given to candidates with luxury retail or boutique store backgrounds; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
