Coach (Tapestry) in Columbia, MD is hiring a Part‑time Sales Support Associate to operate POS, manage inventory and deliver elevated client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalized assistance on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Operate POS accurately, manage cash/media in compliance with company policy, and maintain an organized cash wrap area.
- Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and keep the stockroom orderly.
- Manage stock levels and replenish the sales floor; execute visual merchandising updates and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Recommend add‑on products, promote gift cards and capture customer data where permitted to support sales and CRM initiatives.
- Support store floor activities, respond to customer requests decisively, and collaborate with colleagues and management to meet business needs.
- Adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and safe manual‑handling practices (regular lifting ~25 lbs; occasional lifts up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury retail environment; combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with current fashion trends and competitor activity in the marketplace.
- Working knowledge of cash register systems and mobile point‑of‑sale platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability and the capacity to multitask in a high‑volume retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

Experience
At least one year of prior retail experience in cashiering, stockroom operations or sales; experience in luxury retail is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail or customer‑service training and any coursework in visual merchandising or sales is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
